Does the Aqua ProVac have vacuum functionality while steaming?

The machine functions as a powerful extractor to remove stains from upholstered and carpeted surfaces with less time and effort. However, we typically recommend vacuuming the area first to pull up any loose dirt and larger debris. You will need a separate vacuum cleaner for that purpose.

We've found this to be the best practice for getting the most out of the machine:

1. Using a mixture of water and detergent in a spray bottle (we recommend LA's the Totally Awesome), spray the area that needs to be cleaned.

2. Let the water and detergent mixture absorb into the carpet/upholstery for 1 to 2 minutes.

3. Agitate the surface with a hand brush or round drill bit brush.

4. Using the extractor, spray water and then extract.
